Outdoor Meeting

Iele Paloumpis and Sur Rodney Sur from last night’s beautiful outdoor WHAT WOULD AN HIV DOULA DO meeting.

We spoke about:
- the DIE-INs at the Tacoma ART AIDS AMERICA exhibition and strange it is that ppl in NYC are not aware of that.

- how little room there is in the AIDS response for straight black men with HIV, and what that means for queer caregivers when holding space.

- how naming something is not always enough, it is powerful and can lead to motion.

A great night with Zoë, Noam, Michael, Aldrin, Vika, Virgil, Adrien, Iele, Sur, ghosts, and friends who could not make it.
