We Don't Want a Disaster for President

Inspired by Zoe Leonard’s 1992 piece, “I want a dyke for president,” the What Would an HIV Doula Do? collective created, “ We don’t want a dickhead for president,” which ends with the lines:

Why can’t we, as clowns, johns, hookers, bosses, workers, whistleblowers, liars, thieves, work together to doula the world we have into the world we need? We want to be lead by each other. And we want to know why this isn’t possible?
